Every month or two, give your bathroom a really good clean. Pour 1/2 cup baking soda down the drain, followed by 1/2 cup white vinegar. Let it stand for a few minutes to dissolve fatty acids, then pour boiling water down the drain to wash out any clogs. Give the rest of the room a really deep clean and focus on any mould and mildew removal.

Clean soap scum by using an acidic cleaner. An eco friendly solution of white vinegar and water will cut through any stubborn soap residue. Rinse very well after applying.
